Synopsis
Lobular breast cancer is the second most common type of breast cancer which 1000 people a day are diagnosed with. It’s often called the ‘hidden’ or ‘forgotten‘ cancer and it rarely shows on a mammogram.‘My Journey With Lobular’ is the first ever feature length documentary investigating this type of disease. It tells the journey of former commercial airline pilot, Susan, who was first diagnosed with the cancer in 2023 and who championed and set up the project to help find a specific treatment for the disease, as currently none exists.
