After two years of COVID cancellations across the globe and no spectators, the growing sport of ice climbing is back and bigger than ever at the Ouray Ice Park in Ouray, Colorado in 2022. The “Bridging the Gap” documentary follows ice climbing competitors and the folks behind the Ouray Ice Park, as they host not just one event but three events this season for the first time ever. Making the stakes even higher, this three-event series is capped off by a world-class event – the UIAA Ice Climbing North American Championships – that the Ouray Ice Park has never hosted before.
