Synopsis
Freeze Me is a feature-length investigative documentary that examines the science, ethics, and human motivations behind cryonics - the practice of preserving the body at ultra-low temperatures in the hope of future revival.Through direct access to cryonics facilities, case studies of individuals who have chosen preservation, and interviews with leading cryobiologists, neuroscientists, and medical ethicists, the film interrogates what cryonics can and cannot promise.Moving beyond sensationalism, it situates cryonics within contemporary debates around death, identity, technological optimism, and the limits of scientific knowledge, asking whether this practice represents speculative science, radical hope, or a modern response to mortality itself.
